What's up, everyone? Joshua T. Berglan here, with a recap of a powerful **Spoken Word LIVE** broadcast. Today, the word drawn from the bottle was **CREATION**, a word that sparked a raw and deeply personal conversation about purpose, healing, and the future.
One of my favorite things about doing live broadcasts is the incredible efficiency. My production time has shrunk from hours to minutes, allowing me to repurpose a single broadcast into clips, a blog post, and a newsletter in under an hour. It’s a game-changer for content creators who want to get their message out without endless editing.
My goal is to use technology wisely, then step away. This approach allows me to create content that feels natural, heartfelt, and unscripted. I believe that if you have a message on your heart, going live is the most effective way to share it and get the most "bang for the buck."
It's no coincidence that today's word was **CREATION**. We are in a **Creator's Economy**, and the Creator who made us, created us to create. While many people are still looking for jobs or preparing for careers that won't exist in the near future, the real opportunity lies in what you create.
There is massive disruption coming, and 80% of the world is not ready for it. But the good news is, for those willing to embrace change and tap into their natural gifts and talents, the playing field is being equalized. This new world will have two classes of people: those who take universal basic income and do nothing, and those who create value and thrive.
Your life story is your most valuable asset. For me, creating became an outlet for sadness, anger, confusion, and fear. It was through creating that I was able to work out my mental struggles and process my past. My truth—my "ugly, scary truth"—fueled my creative energy and became the foundation of my entire media organization.
Your purpose is to create, and what you create can multiply in the lives of others. Your journey, your hardships, and your victories are meant to be shared. There are people literally dying to hear how you overcame addiction, healed from trauma, or managed to raise a family against all odds. Your story, your truth, is what will save their life, because it shows them they are not alone.
I've built my own platform, and now I use social media for what it is: a broadcast tool. It doesn't matter if I get kicked off because my original, quality content is safely housed on my own platform. The gatekeepers are gone. You don't need an agent to be an actor, a manager to be an artist, or a publisher to be an author. It's easier than ever to be a one-person media organization.
This is why I'm so passionate about media and digital literacy. You don't need money or a degree to start; all you need is your imagination and work ethic. The tools are available to all of us, especially the underserved: ex-convicts, people with disabilities, and trafficking victims. The playing field is being equalized, and everyone has a shot at success.
I've made my book, **"Media Company in a Box,"** available for free on my website. It's 20 years of my research, and I'm happy to mentor anyone who reads it. This is your chance to start preparing for a future that's already here.
My mission is to build **500 media empowerment centers** globally. These centers will help people turn their pain and suffering into a vehicle for purpose, healing, and creating a brighter future.
