    May 16, 2025

The past few weeks have been a transformative period, a powerful reminder that even the most audacious dreams can take flight with perseverance and a little bit of grace. I'm writing today with a heart overflowing with gratitude, eager to share some exciting news and reflect on the journey that has led me to this pivotal moment.

For the last decade, my work has been driven by a core mission: to empower individuals through media literacy, create platforms for authentic storytelling, and foster global collaboration for sustainable solutions. This mission has been the compass guiding my efforts, even when the path ahead was uncertain and the challenges seemed insurmountable. There were moments when I had nothing to rely on but the unwavering belief in the vision within.

That dedication recently culminated in an experience that surpassed even my wildest expectations: I had the profound honor of being a part of the STI meetings at the United Nations. To witness firsthand the global collaboration aimed at tackling humanity's most pressing issues, to feel the weight of shared responsibility and the power of collective action – it was a moment that validated years of work and ignited an even deeper sense of purpose. It was the fulfillment of ten years of visions, dreams, and prayers.

The energy and connections forged at the UN have now propelled me into a new chapter, one that expands the scope of my work and deepens my commitment to driving positive change. I'm incredibly grateful to announce that I've been invited to join the boards of two remarkable organizations:

DoTheDream Youth Development Initiative (DoTheDream YDI)

A non-governmental organization based in Lagos State, Nigeria, DoTheDream YDI empowers young people through formal and informal education, focusing on Education & Gender Equality and implementing programs aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As their Vice President of Growth and Development, I will be responsible for expanding their reach, securing funding, and developing strategic partnerships to enhance their vital work.

The Alliance for Economic Development and Sustainability (AEDS)

A global organization committed to the principle that environmental sustainability cannot exist without social sustainability. AEDS works to strengthen human relationships and leverage innovative technologies to achieve true sustainability and enhance human well-being. I will serve as an Advisory Board Member, providing guidance on media literacy, digital strategies, and economic development initiatives.

The alignment between these organizations' missions and my own is deeply meaningful. Both are dedicated to creating a more just, equitable, and sustainable world, and both recognize the power of empowering individuals and communities to shape their own destinies.

The mission I have to help 500 million people is not about me, nor did I ever believe I could do it alone. No Mayor believes they can do anything alone, if they have any sense anyway...

I am profoundly honored to join forces with the dedicated and passionate individuals within these organizations. The challenges we face as a global community are immense, but I am filled with hope and a renewed sense of purpose. The vision is expanding, the mission is growing, and I am eager to embark on this next chapter of service and collaboration.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. Your support, your encouragement, and your unwavering belief have been instrumental in bringing me to this point.

And to the future: Let's continue to build bridges, empower voices, and work together to create a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

    Thank you and God bless!
