The Power of the Word: Overcoming

This episode was the 10th in the series, and it's been an interesting journey. For the last eight broadcasts, the word I've drawn has miraculously lined up with what I was already thinking or talking about that day. It creeps me out, but it’s a powerful sign. Today’s word was **OVERCOMING**, and it perfectly ties into the story I was feeling led to share about my personal journey.

The Challenge of Overcoming and Finding Love

When the tremors started and I had to leave my family, it was a devastating time. I truly believed I would never be able to date or find a relationship again. The physical struggle, the energy sensitivity, and the fear of being a burden made me mentally prepare to finish life alone. My health was getting worse, and the doctors were no help, with medications having the opposite effect of what they were supposed to do. This led to a period of deep isolation and negative thoughts.

But instead of giving up, I poured all my energy into fulfilling my purpose. I focused on becoming the man I needed to be to complete my mission. I didn't hide from my challenges; I faced them head-on. And in that journey, something unexpected happened.

The Path to Purpose and Authentic Connection

My life's purpose is to show that anyone can overcome their obstacles, regardless of their past. The key is to be honest and authentic, even when it's uncomfortable. This commitment to truth became a vehicle for my own healing and growth. I learned to speak my truth, not just to others, but to myself, which allowed me to grow and become a safer, more open person.

The unexpected blessing of this journey was finding a woman who sees me for my heart and for the man I've become, looking past my physical struggles. The lesson here is that by becoming the person you were created to be, you will attract the right people into your life. True, meaningful relationships are built on a foundation of honesty and shared purpose.
