The Art of Unlearning: Why Seeking Truth Requires Getting Wrecked
The Art of Unlearning: Why Seeking Truth Requires Getting Wrecked
What's up, everyone? Scrolling through my timelines lately, I’ve noticed a shift. For the first time in a long time, people are actually asking questions. That is really, really good.
We live in a world where we simply accept regurgitated opinions. We fight over talking points handed down from news channels or social media influencers. But the depth of most people's knowledge is shallow at best. That is why seeing you start to question the narrative is the coolest thing ever.
The Trap of "Knowing" It All
Here is the hard truth most people need to accept: No one knows the absolute truth about anything.
Even my own perspectives are flawed. I’m an expert in Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030—the future world we are heading into—but even I am limited by my own perspective.
Just because there is a well-planned, well-funded agenda in motion doesn't mean the future is written in stone. Someone could pull the plug. God could say, "Enough of this," and it all goes away. I am an optimist. But anyone acting like they know exactly what is going on right now? They don't.
The Gospel of Getting Wrecked
It is a lot more fun going through life realizing we don't know anything than assuming we do. When we assume, we get blindsided. This reminds me of a powerful concept found in the Gospel of Thomas.
Seek the truth relentlessly. Seek the truth with everything you have in you. And then when you discover the truth, you're going to be wrecked. You're going to be disturbed. You're going to be broken in half. But then you will be set free and you will rule over the world.
The Unlearning Process
In the last few years, I have been going through a massive unlearning
process. I had to unlearn the "bull crap" taught in schools, by religion, and by people I was supposed to admire. It turns out they didn't know any better than anyone else.
Pretending to know everything is a great way to lead a life of misery. Asking questions allows us to understand. Even if you believe you have the right answer in your heart, it is crucial to listen to other perspectives. Blind allegiance to a political party or religion is dangerous—man has his grubby hands all over those institutions.
The Coming Storm: Deep Fakes & Misinformation
You need to brace yourself for a fact: Disinformation, misinformation, and regurgitated opinions are going to accelerate.
What comes through your news feed will become increasingly deceiving. Deep Fake technology
is better than it has ever been.
There are precautions you can take. I have compiled resources on Deep Fakes and truth-seeking that are largely free. You cannot afford to be passive. Don't just assume because your eyeballs saw it that it is true.
Question the Narrative: The Nigeria Example
Take what is happening in Nigeria. Do not think for a second that what the American government is telling you is the whole truth. It is not. Christians and Muslims are being killed by the same people. In fact, U.S. military strikes have killed Christians there.
This makes people mad because they think I'm talking against Christians, but that is far from the truth. The government has lied to us before. Politicians have lied to us before. It is time to start asking questions instead of just going along with what we are told.
Start Your Unlearning Journey
Seek to understand. Seek a deeper understanding. And get prepared for the age of deception.
